Kathmandu, April 4: U.S. Ambassador to Nepal Dean R. Thompson and U.S. Embassy Spokesperson Zehra Naqvi together visited the 7th International Women’s Trade Expo in Kathmandu. Organised by the Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs Associations of Nepal (FWEAN), the expo ran from March 29 to April 2 and was attended by thousands of visitors.
The expo featured 102 business stalls managed by more than 400 women. The event offered a great opportunity for Nepali women entrepreneurs to promote their products and services, share their business insights, and network with other entrepreneurs, according to a statement by the U.S. Embassy.
The Embassy also offered congratulations to the FWEAN for organising such a successful program with the aim of helping women entrepreneurs develop their skills and grow their business.
