Kathmandu, April 23: Five Australia Awards alumni from Nepal joined others from South Asia and Mongolia for the 2024 Regional Alumni Workshop in Bhutan. The theme of the workshop was ‘Bridging the gender gap and supporting local women leaders’.
The participants discussed an array of subject ranging from how to create respectful and equal workplaces to the role of male allies for gender equality and building supportive networks for women’s empowerment.
On the occasion, Nepali alumni delivered presentations, facilitated panel sessions and engaged in interactive activities.
