Kathmandu, May 11: U.S. Ambassador to Nepal Dean R. Thompson, and USAID Nepal’s Acting Deputy Mission Director Beth Hogan visited the American Corner, Bhairahawa. The team was received and welcomed by the executive committee members of the Siddhartha Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
On the occasion, the team sat down with young people who often visit the American Corner.
The students shared their experiences and challenges, as well as how they use the resources at the Corner. The group also shared their hopes for Nepal, learned about the overall U.S.-Nepal bilateral relationship, and U.S. programmes and opportunities.
