The government has made an arrangement for entry of rental vehicles inside the Singha Durbar – the main administrative complex of the country. Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Dol Prasad Aryal shared the arrangement was made for the people with disabilities to easily enter into the Singha Durbar Complex.
Earlier, the government, private, diplomatic and tourist vehicles were permitted for the entry inside the country’s central administrative building. Taking into the consideration of security sensitivities, the government had been restricting entrance of vehicle-on-rent into the Singha Durbar.
“The arrangement was made in coordination with the Home Ministry so as to ease the entrance of the people with disabilities to Singha Durbar. It will come to effect from tomorrow”, Minister Aryal said. He further informed that security personal would facilitate the entrance of the vehicles carrying PWDs based on the state-provided identity cards.
