Myagdi, Aug 15: A truss technology bridge has been constructed at Uttarkhola of Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve stretched over East Rukum, Baglung and Myagdi districts.
The bridge has been constructed at a cost of Rs 2.5 million with financial assistance of Dhorpatan municipality, technical support of Bhimapokhara Youth Club and in-kind contributions of the locals.
Chair of the bridge construction users’ committee Bishnu Bahadur Thapa said the 25-metre-long bridge, constructed on the trekking route from Dhawalagiri rural municipality to Dhorpatan hunting reserve in Myagdi, has benefited the residents of Chentung, Gurjaghat and Pakhathar as well as tourists.
