Chitwan, Sept 2: One person has died in Chitwan due to dengue infection. The deceased has been identified as a 63-year-old man from Bharatpur Metropolitan City-2. Bimal Patel, Public Health Officer at the Public Health Office, said that he died on Saturday in course of treatment at Chitwan Medical College. According to him, the patient was admitted to the medical college on Friday.
Out of 3,044 dengue tests, 727 people have been infected with dengue. Among the infected, 532 are from Chitwan and the rest from other districts.
