Kathmandu, Sept 11: The United States has commemorated the 23rd anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, a tragic incident that claimed lives of nearly 3,000 innocent people.
The U.S. Embassy in Nepal has expressed its deep sorrow and honoured the memory of those killed in the attacks while paying respect to the first responders and the everyday heroes who showed their extraordinary bravery and resilience in the face of adversity.
“As we commemorate this anniversary, we also reaffirm our commitment to unity and compassion in the face of adversity.”
