Kathmandu, Sept 21: The EducationUSA University Fair has concluded in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Of over 3,300 participants, around 2,300 students attended visa sessions led by U.S. Embassy Kathmandu visa officers, said the organisers. The event was organised on September 17-19, 2024 by the U.S. Embassy in Nepal in collaboration with the Education USA and usef Nepal.
The event aimed to address questions related to student visas, academic programs, campus life, financial aid options, and application procedures.
Nepali students are the 11th-largest group of international students studying at U.S. universities. Nepali students pursue higher education in the United States to build skills and contacts to further develop in their chosen careers.
The organisers expressed their gratitude to all the participants and supporters, including the college representatives, USEF-Nepal EducationUSA Advising Center, EducationUSA advisors, and Embassy staff for making the event a success.
