Myagdi, Oct 11: Wanted ‘A’ Team has emerged victorious in the 2nd Riverside 7A-Side Football Tournament- 2081 held in Beni municipality-2 in Myagdi.
By winning the title of the tournament organised on the occasion of the Dashain festival, the team received a cash prize of Rs 101,010. In the final match on Thursday, Wanted ‘A’ faced off against their club mates, Wanted ‘B’, winning by a score of 2-1. The first runner-up prize amounted to Rs 50,000.
The tournament, organized by the local Riverside Bagarphant Youth Club, kicked off on October 3 and a total of 34 competed for the title, according to the club’s Sachin Karki.
