Saptari : Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has said his party had paid constant attention to the development and prosperity of Madhes.
Chairman Dahal said it during an interaction organized as part of the Tarai Madhes awakening campaign at Bode Barsain in the district on Friday.
“Entire party leadership, including me, has arrived here, realizing the need of good governance and development works in Madhes,” he said, reminding that the Maoist Centre had played a leading role in introducing federalism and inclusive system in Nepal. Time has come for Maoist party and Madhesi people to be united again, according to him.
He further claimed that Madhes Province got its name based on identity while this issue was not addressed fully in other provinces. Chairman Dahal asserted that if the Maoist party and Madhesi people do not work in unison, the achievement made so far would see threat.
He further blamed the parties calling themselves Madhesbadi were paying heed to reactionary.
