Kathmandu, March 19: The Supreme Court has issued an order, seeking the submission of revised decision of the Attorney General on a case relating to President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane.

Earlier, Attorney General Sabita Bhandari Baral had amended the decision on a case of money laundering and organized crimes filed against RSP President Lamichhane.

A division bench of Justices Saranga Subedi and Sunil Kumar Pokharel on Thursday issued the order, seeking the amended decision. Hearing on it had begun on Sunday.

Earlier, a division bench of Justices Sapana Pradhan Malla and Shreekant Paudel had ordered a regular hearing on the case on March 14.

Attorney General Bhandari had decided to withdraw the case of money laundering and organized crime filed against Lamichhane during the term of the erstwhile government.

Advocates Yubraj Paudel and Avas Regmi and senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi had filed separate writ petitions at SC against Attorney General’s decision.
