Kathmandu, April 6: The separate meetings of the House of Representatives (HoR) and National Assembly (NA) are scheduled to take place today.
The HoR meeting is summoned for 1:00 pm. According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, three ordinances will be tabled in the HoR meeting.
Federal Parliament Secretariat’s General Secretary Padhma Prasad Pandey said that Home Minister Sudhan Gurung is expected to table ‘Voter List (First Amendment), Ordinance 2082′, HoR Member Election (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2082′ and Nepal Special Service (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2082’ for the HoR approval.
Likewise, the meeting of the NA is taking place at 12:15 pm in Singha Durbar. In the meeting, NA Member Prem Prasad Dangal is scheduled to propose Lila Kumari Bhandari for her election as the NA Vice Chairperson.
Furthermore, Prime Minister Balendra Shah is also scheduled to table the 24th annual report of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of the fiscal year 2080/081 BS in today’s NA meeting.
