Kathmandu, Aug 26: The monsoon winds are currently influencing weather patterns across the nation. The Meteorological Forecasting Division indicates that the low-pressure system associated with the monsoon is situated around the average position.
At present, the hilly and mountainous areas are predominantly overcast. The lowlands of Koshi and the far-western regions are also enveloped in clouds, while the remaining lowland areas experience partial cloudiness.
Light to moderate rainfall is occurring in select locations throughout the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces. The Division forecasts that today will feature generally cloudy conditions nationwide.
