New York, : Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal has arrived here today to participate in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. Foreign Minister Khanal was welcomed at JFK International Airport by Nepal’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Lok Bahadur Thapa, Consul General Dadhiram Bhandari, and other officials from the mission.
Minister Khanal will lead the ‘Everest to the Sea’ side-line meeting hosted by Nepal. He is also scheduled to hold meetings with his counterparts from various countries.
Accompanying Minister Khanal are Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Krishna Prasad Dhakal, and other officials.
