Kathmandu, Sept 22: Prime Minister Balendra Shah is leaving for the USA today, leading a high-level Nepali delegation to attend the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, New York.
PM Shah-led delegation members are his chief advisor Kumar Byanjankar, chief personal secretary Subash Sharma, private secretary Pradeep Pariyar and photographer Binay Shakya, among others.
PM Shah is leaving for the USA from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu in a flight of Qatar Airways at 4:15pm.
He is scheduled to address the high level session of the UN General Assembly on September 24. Even the Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal is in the PM-led delegation to the UN General Assembly.
PM Shah is scheduled to meet UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres in New York. Shah will return home on September 26.
It is the first foreign visit of PM Shah.
