Kathmandu : In absence of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, who left for New York today leading the Nepali delegation to the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle will oversee the Prime Minister’s daily administrative duties.
A statement issued today by Ishwari Prasad Pandey, Assistant Spokesperson for the Office of the President notes that President Ramchandra Paudel, acting on the recommendation of Prime Minister Shah and in accordance with the Constitution of Nepal, has designated Finance Minister Dr Wagle to manage daily administrative functions in absence of the Prime Minister.
