Kathmandu, Sept 29: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled at 10:00am today.
In the meeting, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, on behalf of Prime Minister Balendra Shah, is presenting the ‘National Defense University Bill, 2083’.
The Minister will also table a proposal, seeking consideration on ‘Bill to Retrieve Some Provisions of Nepal Act, 2083’.
Also in the schedule is presentation of a report prepared by the Education, Health and Information Technology on the National Forensics Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2083 in the HoR. The Bill was originated in the National Assembly. Committee chair Ojwashi Sherchan will be tabling the Bill.
The HoR meeting will be receiving the ‘Diploma Engineering Council Bill, 2083’ from Minister for Infrastructure, Sunil Lamsal.
Minister for Health and Food Safety, Nisha Mehta, is scheduled to present a proposal, seeking consideration on ‘Ramraja Prasad Singh Institute of Health Sciences, 2083’.
Even the Finance committee, and Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee are meeting later today.
