KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that the cooperation with Nepal Samajwadi Party Chairman Baburam Bhattarai will remain intact.
Addressing a program in the capital, Prachanda said the alliance with Bhattarai is not only meant for election purposes but for a long time.
He said since Baburam’s attempt to form an alternative political party and his attempt to form a left alliance failed, they decided to move together.
Bhattarai is contesting the election to the House of Representatives with the election symbol Maoist hammer and sickle.
Dahal also said that since he and Bhattarai have come together, people will be enthusiastic because of their sacrifices during the people’s war.
