CPN UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has stressed the need of making the country self-sufficient on production. Speaking at a programme themed ‘Nepal’s graduation to the developing country from the category of least developed country (LDC), on Friday, the former Prime Minister said we should minimise our dependency on neighbours for food.
Highlighting the programme theme, the leader said it is obviously positive that Nepal would be graduating to the middle-income country from the LDC. “It is a progress,” he noted. Oli urged one and all to contribute to improving the nation’s economy through production.
He also underlined the need of broader discussions to advance towards the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.
