Kathmandu, Jan 7: The USAID Nepal has called for applications for USAID small grants for biodiversity with the aim of supporting locally-led conservation initiatives that help protect biodiversity while improving community well-being, said USAID.
These grants will fund projects that protect plants, animals, and ecosystems in Nepal, and help communities thrive by connecting them to nature, it has been said.
The objective of the USAID initiatives is enhancing biodiversity conservation through community engagement and ownership and strengthening local capacity for biodiversity conservation implementation, said USAID.
Eligibility for this award is limited to Nepali organizations.
