Kathmandu. On the occasion of Constitution Day, 2079, President Bidya Devi Bhandari has granted amnesty to 681 prisoners who have paid their prison sentences and who have yet to pay them. On the recommendation of the government, President Bhandari granted amnesty to 203 prisoners including Pasang Sherpa and 478 prisoners including Indra Kumar Limbu who had already served their prison sentences based on the order of the Supreme Court and were effective from September 19.
