Kathmandu, May 14: ‘Sukarma’, a Nepali musical band comprising a group of four artists, greeted around 40 guests from Bangladesh with their performance at the residence of the Ambassador of Germany in Kathmandu. The concert was organised on the occasion of a visit of artists from Bangladesh to Nepal.

Under the guidance of Prof. Dhrubesh Chandra Regmi form Tribhuvan University, the group of four artists performed Classical Nepali Music for one hour. They introduced sounds of the Sitar, Violin, Tabla and Flute. Prof. Regmi and his group have been on tour in Europe before, and is scheduled to go to Germany for a concert series this summer.

The concert was followed by a dinner reception in the garden. “It was a great cultural evening with lovely music, guests and food. Thanks to everyone for their participation.”
