Kathmandu, May 27: The Government of Australia has announced support to the Department of Languages and Mass Communications under the School of Arts of the Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel for a cultural exchange program with experts from the Curtin University in Australia.
This public diplomacy programme was developed in cooperation with the Association of Nepalese Alumni from Australia (ANAA).
It thanked Associate Professor Dr Kashi Raj Pandey, Australia Awards alum, for designing this event to build academic linkages between the two institutions and support Nepali students’ exposure to Australian academics.
It also offered gratitude to ANAA for its continued efforts to strengthen people-to-people relations between the two countries, and to Australian academics, award-winning poet Dr Caitlin Maling, and editor, Dr Per Henningsgaard, for sharing their insights and experiences with Nepali academics and students.
