Kathmandu, July 1: Ambassador of Australia to Nepal Felicity Volk recently met with the members of the Lalitpur chapter of the Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF). The meeting, organised in Lalitpur by the NYEF, focused on leadership in business and diplomacy.
The NYEF serves as a platform for Nepalese entrepreneurs, who have returned home from studies or work in various foreign countries like Australia, to start up and lead businesses. The NYEF offers networking, support, collaboration and learning among them.
On the occasion, Ambassador Volk expressed her appreciation to NYEF Lalitpur chapter president Subin Shrestha and the team for the opportunity to meet and explore cooperation between young entrepreneurs in Nepal and Australia.
“I was delighted to meet with members of the Lalitpur chapter of the NYEF to discuss leadership in business and diplomacy. Nepal’s young business people are critical to the country’s LDC graduation in 2026.”
