Dhanusha, July 17: The Madhes province government is to provide relief assistance to the families of those people from the province killed in the Simaltal landslide bus accident in Chitwan on July 12.  The province government will provide the financial assistance at the rate of Rs 100,000 per family of the accident victims.

Chief Minister of the provincial government Satish Kumar Singh announced this financial assistance to the people from the districts of the province killed in the Simaltal incident in which a landslide swept away two passenger buses into the Trishuli river.

“We have made an announcement to provide relief to the families of those people who lost their life in the accident. The Office of the Chief Minister has already declared this,” said Chief Minister Singh.

According to him, the financial assistance will be provided to the victim’s family on the recommendation of the Chief District Officer.
