Darchula, Aug 28. The Gokuleshwor-Khalanga road under the Mahakali Highway has been blocked by a landslide at Melkhet Dhamigada of Malikarjun Rural Municipality-8 today morning, disrupting traffic.
As a result, vehicles and passengers heading from Darchula to their destinations, Mahendranagar and Kathmandu have been stuck midway, said the police.
Supervisor Ganesh Bohra informed that an excavator belonging to the Division Road Office Baitadi removed debris since morning. But, the blocked road will be operational smoothly only after big rocks have been removed, he said.
