Kathmandu, Sept 3: Monsoon is currently affecting the country with the low pressure line situated to around average area of the west and the average area of the east.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, it is currently raining in some parts of the country since morning. Few places of Koshi, Gandaki, Bagmati and Lumbini provinces are receiving light to moderate rain, while it is partly to generally cloudy across the country.
It will be partly to generally cloudy in the afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thundershowers at some places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces and few places in the remaining provinces.
There is also a possibility of heavy rain at a few places in Koshi province and at one or two places in Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. The Division said that it will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country at night. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thundershowers at some places in Koshi, Madhes, Lumbini and Bagmati provinces and few places in the remaining provinces.
