Kathmandu, Sept 3: Associate Professor and Director of the Master of Public Administration Programme at the University of Vermont, Dr Christina Barski has arrived in Nepal on a visit as part of the American Speaker Programme.
During her visit, Dr Barsky is scheduled to be traveling across Kathmandu and Janakpur, meeting with students, young leaders, provincial and local government representatives, and the U.S. Embassy Youth Council Nepal members.
On the occasion, she will discuss U.S. elections, exchange insights on the electoral systems of the United States and Nepal, and emphasise the vital role of elections in a democracy, according to the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu.
