Kathmandu, Sept 6: The German Embassy in Kathmandu has offered congratulations to the Kathmandu University, and the Rabindra Puri Foundation on the launch of the Bachelor in Heritage Conservation (BHC) Programme.
“We are confident that this programme will cultivate many skilled experts in heritage conservation and in turn contribute significantly to the preservation and celebration of Nepal’s rich cultural heritage,” said the Embassy.
The Embassy also expressed its best wishes to the future students as they embark on this exciting journey.
The BHC programme provides a comprehensive curriculum focused on the theory and practice of heritage conservation, offering students valuable knowledge and skills in the areas like heritage assessment, preservation techniques, and community engagement.
The Embassy’s support for the BHC programme means its commitment to promoting cultural heritage preservation in Nepal while this initiative aims to promote cultural exchange and consolidate bilateral relations between Nepal and Germany.
