Kathmandu, Sept 10: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has pointed out the need of raising people’s awareness for safeguarding and implementing the constitution.
At a party cadres’ meeting organized by CPN (Maoist Centre) Mirchaiya municipal committee at Siraha this morning, Chairperson Dahal shared that it was the responsibility of the people for continuous awareness in protection and implementation of the constitution promulgated from people’s struggle.
He thanked Siraha folks for giving him opportunity to contribute in making constitution and its implementation as people’s representative of Siraha electing him in 2070 election.
Recalling that he fulfilled the significant responsibility of implementing constitution by taking the people of Madhes into confidence after promulgation of the constitution, Chair Dahal said the constitution has made maximum efforts to guarantee rights of oppressed communities.
“The principle of inclusive and proportional representation along with federalism has empowered the people oppressed for hundreds years. A time has come to change the condition of the people through its full implementation. People’s support and cooperation is indispensable for the same”, he mentioned.
According to Chair Dahal’s Private Secretariat, Chair Dahal explained, “We have been forwarding agenda of god governance, social justice and prosperity ahead with priority. I tried to pay more attention in resolving problems of Madhes in this agenda at a time during my premiership.”
The CPN (Maoist Centre) would join its hands with the people to resolve people’s problems and implement the constitution, he underlined, directing local party committees to move ahead making plans.
Earlier, talking to locals of Golbazaar of Siraha, Chair Dahal enquired about the condition of development construction started during his premiership.
Meanwhile, during gatherings of party cadres and locals organized at Karjanha municipality of Siraha, he mentioned that he is thinking to launch the nation-wide agitation programme against corruption.
He asked the party cadres to involve wholeheartedly to strengthen party organization.
