Kathmandu, Sept 16: The U.S. Embassy in Nepal has celebrated the 77 years of bilateral ties between the United States and Nepal, coinciding with the International Day of Democracy on September 15.
According to a statement issued by the Embassy, both the nations remain committed to championing democratic values, promoting human rights, and fostering inclusive economic growth. While strengthening democratic institutions to empowering communities, the partnership between the two countries has been built on mutual respect and shared goals, it said.
“As we reflect on the progress we’ve made, we also look forward to deepening our collaboration in the years ahead to create a more prosperous and inclusive future for our two nations.”
