Kathmandu, Sept 21:   The weather is currently partly to mostly cloudy across the country, with light to moderate rainfall taking place in few places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and one or two places in the rest of the provinces.

This is due to the influence of monsoon winds still present across the country, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

The weather will continue to remain partly to mostly cloudy across the country this afternoon, with a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini and Karnali provinces and few places in Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is also possibility of heavy rain in one or two places in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly cloudy to mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country, with a chance of light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali regions, adds the Department.
