Kathmandu, Sept 30: Representatives from the Nepal Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) held a bilateral meeting in Kathmandu with Ricardo Dalla Costa, the General Consul of Italy in Kolkata, India, on September 30.
The discussions focused on boosting trade between Nepal and India, with an emphasis on sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, and technology. Similarly, upcoming business meets and trade fairs, which aim to foster cross-border collaboration and investment, was also discussed, according to a statement issued by NICCI.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening economic ties and promoting business growth across Nepal, India, and Italy.
The meeting was attended also by Sanjay Agrawal, President of NICCI, and Pratima Pandey, Honorary Consul General of Italy for Nepal.
