Kathmandu : President Ram Chandra Paudel has said he would devote to fulfilling the national responsibility for the protection of democracy and constitution and for fostering values and morality.

During a felicitation programme organized by the Atreya Gotriya Paudel Kul Puja Management Committee at his residence, Shital Niwas on Sunday, he reminded that dedication, values and morality were superior to the post for him. So, he did not involve in any activity that was questioned during his political life, President Paudel reminded.

He further said he would continue devoting to protection of democracy and constitution and promoting national unity.

“I’ll not leave any stone unturned to fulfill guardianship role bestowed upon me by the State,” he said, adding that he would work for the reputation not only of his family clan but of entire nation.

Senior most member of the Paudel kul (family line), Punya Prasad Paudel, offered a letter of felicitation to the President on the occasion.

The programme was attended by the Paudel people from various parts of the country including Tanahu, Chitwan and Kathmandu.
