Kathmandu—Dinesh Sunar, a renowned parkour athlete and Guinness World Record holder, has received the International Mother Teresa Award 2024, presented by the Swarna Bharat Parivaar Trust. Joining a distinguished list of over 1,000 global honorees, Sunar’s award is a testament to his commitment to compassion, resilience, and uplifting those around him.

The award, named in honor of Mother Teresa, whose life embodied love and humanity, carries deep significance for Sunar. It further motivates him to pursue his journey not just as an athlete but as a beacon of positivity and hope. He remains committed to using his achievements to inspire and uplift communities worldwide.

In his acceptance remarks, Sunar thanked his family, mentors, and supporters, noting that his achievements are a testament to their encouragement and belief. “Every milestone reflects the unwavering love and support of those who have stood by me,” he stated.

Sunar also called for continuing Mother Teresa’s legacy, urging others to practice kindness and contribute to a more compassionate world. “I hope this recognition serves as a beacon to inspire us all to make a meaningful difference,” he added.

Sunar’s achievement has fostered pride in both Nepal and the United States, symbolizing a strong and enduring diplomatic bond between the two nations. His journey exemplifies shared values and the universal pursuit of goodwill.
