Kathmandu, Nov 14: Currently there is general impact of local winds in the western and hilly regions across the country.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Gandaki and Koshi provinces and fair in the rest of the country. Some parts of the Terai (southern plain) have witnessed light fog.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and fair in the rest of the country.
Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces tonight. Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces and light snowfall at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous regions in the next 24 hours, the Department informed.
The Department has urged all concerned to remain cautious as there is a possibility of partial impact in agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road and air transport in the places.
