Kathmandu : The weather is generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous parts in Lubmini and Sudurpaschim provinces of the country at present. The weather in the rest of the parts of the country is generally fair, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. Currently, light rain is occurring in one or two hilly places in Gandaki Province.
Currently, Nepal is under the influence of westerly winds, local winds, as well as a low-pressure area located near the eastern region of the country, the Department stated.
The hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Madhes provinces, as well as other parts of the country, will be generally cloudy, while the Tarai region will be partly cloudy, the Department stated in its weather forecast bulletin. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall and snowfall accompanied by thunder, lightning, gusty winds and hailstorms at some places in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi Province and at a few places in the rest of the country.
Tonight, the Himalayan region of Koshi Province and other parts of the country will be generally cloudy, the hilly region will be partly cloudy, and the Tarai region will remain mainly fair. There is a possibility of light rainfall and snowfall with thunder and lightning at a few places in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
