Kathmandu, Nov 15: There is a general impact of local and westerly winds in the western and hilly regions across the country. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Gandaki and Koshi provinces and mostly fair in the rest of the country. Some parts of the Tarai have witnessed thick fog.
According to the Department, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces today and fair in the rest of the country. Tonight, the hilly belt of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces will remain partly cloudy and the weather will remain fair in other areas.
Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces tonight. Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces and light snowfall at one or two places of the high hilly and mountainous regions in the next 24 hours, the Department informed.
The Department has urged all to remain cautious as there is a possibility of partial impact on agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road and air transport in the places since thick fog is likely to occur in the morning and evening in the Tarai area.
