NEPSE Index on bullish trend, climbs 49.12 points

Kathmandu, Jan 6: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index climbed by 49.12 points today, closing at 2,640.68 points. The rise is 1.89%.

According to NEPSE, the total turnover for the day was Rs 6,305,431,854.50, with 15,461,264 shares traded. A total of 312 companies’ shares were traded, with 75,540 transactions taking place.

On this positive day for the market, the share prices of 226 companies increased, while 12 companies saw their prices decline, and the prices of 4 companies remained unchanged.

Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited saw a positive circuit breaker, while the share prices of Supar Madi Hydropower Project rose by 9.70%, Sahas Urja Limited by 8.70%, and Mayakhola Hydropower by 8.59%.

Conversely, negative circuit breakers were applied to the shares of Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited and Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited.
