Kimathanka (Sankhuwasabha), Jan 8: Normal life here has been affected due to snowfall in the upper territories of the district.
Angkanju Sherpa, a local, said snowfall has occurred around Gufapokhari of Chainpur municipality-1 since last night.
He further shared that normal life has been affected due to snowfall in Cavepokhari, Mangalare, Kimathanka and Makalu since last night.
Light rain with snowfall is still continuing in the area. The rise in cold has mostly affected children, elderly and livestock.
