Kathmandu, Jan 14: There will be a service providing institution at each level for health service insurance from now onward. From now onward, the Health Insurance Board has to sign an agreement to have at least one service provider at each level.
Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Paudel took the amendment proposal to this effect to the Council of Ministers meeting.
As per the provisions of the amended Act, it is expected that the problem of not being able to get service in the municipality even after becoming an insurance member earlier will end.
According to Minister Paudel’s secretariat, preparations are underway to amend the Health Insurance Regulation for this purpose.
