Kathmandu: Nabil Bank has provided 20 Samsung mobile phones equipped with Knox technology to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office. The mobile phones were handed over by Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer Manoj Gyawali to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Binod Ghimire of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office on January 16, 2025 as part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative at the office located in Ramshahpath.
As per the Traffic Police Office, Knox technology enabled mobile sets are used to enhancing operational efficiency, data security, using secure and robust platform for using public safety and law enforcement applications and communication in their daily duties. Senior DCEO Gyawali stated that the mobile phones will support to enhance traffic management, and deliver more efficient technology-friendly services.
Expressing his gratitude to Nabil Bank, SSP Ghimire stated that the support would expedite the work of the traffic police as these mobile sets will be used for enhancing operational efficiency and daily duties. “The use of these mobile phones will make technology-driven service delivery more effective. We look forward to continued cooperation and collaboration with the bank in the days ahead,” he said.
Nabil Bank has been conducting various social initiatives under its CSR program with the aim of bringing positive change to society. The bank has reiterated its commitment to continuing programs focused on overall societal improvement in the future.
