Mahendranagar (Dhanusha), Feb 7: Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, has expressed confidence that Janakpur Literature Festival would provide crucial role in preserving and promoting the Mithila literature, music and culture.
In his remarks in the inaugural session of the Sixth Janakpur Literature Festival on Thursday, the Chief Minister hoped that the literary event would offer contributions to spread literary, cultural and social awakenings.
Singh also stated that ensuring a live history of literature and art was a challenging job in the present time.
The Chief Minister voiced for continuity of such event in Janakpurdham with supports from all stakeholders, which is meant for uncovering cultural activities.
