Kathmandu, Feb 22: There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces today. Furthermore, light snowfall is likely at a few places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas of the country including Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces and partly cloudy to mainly clear in the rest of the country.
This is due to the influence of a westerly low pressure system.
Later tonight, the weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas of the country and partly cloudy to mainly clear in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali Provinces.
