Kathmandu – The Norwegian Embassy recently participated in a special dinner with the Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation (Norec) and exchange participants from Asia, celebrating cross-border collaboration and cultural exchange.
The dinner, held last Friday, marked the conclusion of Norec’s preparatory and homecoming training program, which took place in Kathmandu from February 16 to 21. The program equipped participants with essential skills before embarking on their exchange journeys and welcomed those returning from their international experiences.
As a key institution under Norway’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Norec facilitates global learning, capacity building, and sustainable development through international exchange programs. In an era of increasing global challenges, Norec’s mission to bridge cultures and foster mutual understanding remains more important than ever.
