CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said the presidential candidate Subas Nembang is a capable candidate. He is a legal expert and has experience of prestigious post of Speaker, Oli argued. Nembang has filed his nomination to the post of President from the CPN (UML). Talking to media persons at the Federal Parliament building, New Baneshwor, after filing Nembang’s candidacy, Chair Oli opined Nembang is a successful politician who played significant role in Nepali politics.
He shared, “The UML has picked Nembang as the presidential candidate not for party interest but for the interest of nationality, for the victory of the nation, welfare of the people, successful implementation of constitution and system.” The UML Chairman also expressed hope that every voter should support Nembang. Saying his party picked him as the candidate for the presidential election, Nembang viewed, “My candidacy is filed not only by my party but also by all others. I will work for the welfare of the people and nation.”
He mentioned that he would accept the result based on the competition, adding that other candidacies are welcome. Nembang also expressed commitment to create environment for healthy competition. ——
