Kathmandu, April 26: Presently the country has a partial impact of local winds. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the maximum and minimum temperatures have increased in most of the parts in the country in the recent days.

The Department said that the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces would remain partly cloudy while the weather will remain mainly fair in rest parts of the country today.

Likewise, the weather will remain mainly fair in the country this afternoon and evening except for partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. Chances of light rainfall along with thunder and lightning are there in one or two places of hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

The Department has also cautioned the residents in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces to apply precautions as the chances of heat wave are there in the provinces.
