The Nepal Day Parade took place in New York City, USA, on May 21, featuring a cultural program that showcased a parade representing Nepali heritage. This seventh edition of the parade was organized by the Non-Resident Nepali Association, New York Chapter, in partnership with local Nepali organizations.

The event was inaugurated by New York City Mayor Eric Adams, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, and included participants from the Nepali and Nepali-American communities dressed in traditional costumes from various ethnic groups spanning from Mechi to Mahakali (All of Nepal). They carried banners from different organizations alongside local public representatives. The parade was enhanced by the participation of Nepali artists, musicians, and athletes, including Dinesh Sunar Parkour who holds a record in the 20th edition of the Guinness Book of World Records.

This year was significant as it saw the New York Police Department take part for the first time, proudly raising the Nepalese flag alongside the NYPD Color Guard and a police vehicle. It marked a historic moment, as the NYPD, founded on May 23, 1845, engaged in this unique celebration for the very first time. This landmark event was made possible through the teamwork of Sonam Ghising Lama, president of the Nepalese Law Enforcement Association, and Neil Narayan, president of the NYPD Desi Society.
The parade, which saw a significant turnout of Nepalis and Americans of Nepali descent from all over 50 states, aimed to promote patriotism, unity, and nationalism, while encouraging visits to Nepal and its various tourist attractions.

The Nepal Day Parade has been held every year since 2016. In 2025, Manita Gurung served as the convener for the event, while Tshering Sherpa Thakthok took on the role of President.
