Kathmandu, June 20: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed happiness for the discovery of natural gas in Dailekh district. Writing a post of his Facebook wall today, PM Oli has recalled his past days when he commenced the exploration of petroleum products in Dailekh during his time as the prime minister.
“I have recalled the days of beginning the exploration of petroleum products in Dailekh. There were different opinions for and against (the decision),” the PM stated.
PM Oli mentioned that he has recalled the past days after the news of the storage of 1.12 billion cubic meters of methane gas in Dailekh. “This is a good news,” PM Oli shared.
The petroleum exploration work was started in some hilly districts in the country including Dailekh after the G-to-G agreement between Nepal and China during the Oli-led government in 2019.
