Kathmandu, Aug 9: The low pressure monsoon line is located to the north of the average position in the east, and near Terai in the west. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will generally be cloudy across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall in some areas of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces and in a few areas of the remaining provinces.
The division has indicated a possibility of heavy rainfall in one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces. Tonight, the weather will generally remain cloudy across the country. According to the division, there is a chance of moderate rainfall in some hilly and Terai regions of Madhesh, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, as well as in a few places in the hilly and Terai regions of the remaining provinces.
